The Hassonjee Law Firm is a full service business and immigration law firm operating since 1995 with an experienced and dedicated staff. Our staff includes attorneys and administrative personnel who have been with the law office for a number of years and are dedicated to helping you achieve your immigration goals by looking for positive and creative solutions to your legal needs.
We offer legal services to meet the transactional needs of small to medium size companies. We also offer a range of immigration services for family based and employment based immigrant and non-immigrant visas.
Our office has numerous domestic and foreign clients. We work with both domestic as well as international companies in helping set-up companies in the US, drafting relevant agreements as well as helping them navigate the US business and immigration systems. We provide comprehensive advice on the laws regarding business transactions in the US and hiring immigrant employees.
Over the past decade we have helped countless families get visas to the US, get extensions to their current status, file change of status applications, get green cards and citizenship. We have prepared and filed hundreds and hundreds of non-immigrant E visa petitions, H-1B petitions, L petitions, Business and Visitor’s visa (B1 and B2) extensions applications, R visa petitions, O/P visa petitions, TN petitions as well as permanent labor certification applications and employment based as well as marriage based green card applications.
Entrepreneurs often have unique and exciting ideas for purchasing and operating new or existing businesses. Our law office is experienced in assisting new immigrant entrepreneurs with their visa processes, whether they relate to a nonimmigrant investment visa like the E visa that enables one to own their own business and live and work in the US or an intra-company transfer of a Multinational Manager or person with Specialized Knowledge from a foreign company to their US office or an investment application for permanent residence based on the EB5 category.
We can help people looking to work in the US to get proper status that enables them to work with appropriate authorization like the H-1B or H-2B visas, the TN visa, the L visa, the O visa or P visa and of course if someone is affiliated with a religious non-profit organization then an R visa for a religious minister or religious worker.
Employment based applications very often require the employer and employee to engage in the PERM or Permanent Labor Certification process which is filed with the US Department of Labor or the National Interest Waiver application or Extraordinary Ability Alien application which may be filed directly with the USCIS. We have helped hundreds of individuals traverse these complicated processes with tremendous success.
Of course, we also assist in the final step of many immigrants journey navigating the US immigration process, Naturalization and Citizenship. We represent individuals in preparation and filing of the Naturalization Application and representation at the Naturalization Interview. If the USCIS is taking longer than usual to process your Naturalization application there are some limited avenues available to get the USCIS to expedite processing of your application. We provide experienced legal representation all the way.
