The Rubin Museum focuses on art from around the Himalayan areas, so although they have a lot of work from Tibet, they also have Indian artworks. Museum admission is kind of pricey at $19 for adults, $14 for seniors and students so going on their free Friday night between 6PM-10PM is a good idea if you want to save some $$. They have a great collection of Thangka art. On Friday nights, they often have a nightlife event of some sort- an Indian DJ or music event which is a great time to make use of the Cafe Serai's happy hour drinks specials.
