Living abroad is always fascinating as we think about the different lifestyle, but the most important thing we miss out is home and the festive season, India is a land of festivals, where people from different religions coexist harmoniously. and when we talk about celebrating any festival we do get involved in it, no matter what religion we belong to, and one of the significant festival is around the corner it's the Ganesh festival, which is celebrated in most parts of India, personally, I am going to miss it do the core, as we start the preparations a month before the festival starting with Shravan, followed by cleaning the house preparing for decorations thinking about creative stuff challenging your own crafting abilities, and lots of shopping stuff, bringing the Ganesh idol home with lots of 'Ganpati Bappa' chants and performing aarti and waiting for the special prasad 'Modak', I hope by now I have managed to take you for nice nostalgic spin.
