Hiring Second Level Field Technician

Hope everyone are doing good. I am recruiting for Second Level IT Field Maintenance Technician role for NCR for Mississauga location. There is one position open and pay rate is $20/hr +mileage .40/km.

Job Title: Second Level Maintenance Technician (Mississauga)

Type: Contract- 3 months /Possibility of extension

Location: Mississauga Ontario L5N 2E2 Canada

Duration (of contract): 3 Months (possibility of an extension)

Start Date: February 1st, 2021

End Date: April 30, 2021

Days/Hours: Rotational Shift work - Must available 7 days a week between 8 AM and Midnight

Hours/Week: 40

Overview

- Technician MUST have a car and will be driving between locations,

- Technicians will be compensated mileage - $0.40 per kilometer

- Technicians will swapping defective devices with working devices (POS, Lotto, ATMs), the technicians will be provided one week training on the equipment before being dispatched as a result they must be quick learners.

Responsibilities

- Perform intermediate IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) activities: hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other hardware deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, POS devices, etc.

- Perform deskside support services installing and troubleshooting of hardware

- Handle bench repairs (depot service) & remedial maintenance

- Respond/update/close calls from National Dispatch/Call Management Center

- Communicate with customers to diagnose problem, establish E.T.A., and parts requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required

- Have at least 1-3 year of field service experience doing hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities

- Have A+ certification

- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks

- Exceptional customer service skills

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision

- Must be available to work flexible work schedules

- Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program

- Networking, Mechanical and ATM experience will be an asset

Tools required, standard technicians tools:

- Side cutters

- Allen Keys

- Pliers

- Measuring Tape

- MultiBit Screwdriver

- 12.7/16 wrench or wrench set

They work various and rotating shifts 7AM to Midnight, 7 days per week
