Domingo Soto

Por Homeis
Dashed border

An experienced trial and appellate lawyer with bi-lingual proficiency, Domingo Soto's cases run the gamut from terrorism, major international drug conspiracies, violent street crimes, and sexual or domestic abuse, all the way down to traffic and DUI defense. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. and Alabama Supreme Courts as well as pro hac vice in other jurisdictions. His practice is limited to criminal defense law in both federal and state venues.  Some cases can't be negotiated and must be tried. In Alabama state courts he has successfully tried the complete gamut of cases, including murder, robbery, rape, kidnap, dogfighting, and assaults. Among the many federal cases in his resume are: United States v. Leon, 88-70; United States v. Lynn, 89-72 (sub nom United States v. Eyster, 948 F.2d 1196 (11th Cir. 1991); United States v. For more than 23 years I have spent every day relentlessly fighting and winning cases for my clients. No matter how tough. No matter the facts. My record speaks for itself. More than 90% of my clients avoid a conviction! That's an incredible record. Whether it's a murder charge, a rape charge, an assault, robbery or drug charge, I use my experience as a former cop, my training in forensics, and my two decades as a criminal defense lawyer to break apart the prosecution's case and win for my clients. I use tactics I've developed and the results have been proven time and time again. No lawyer can guarantee a result, and your case is unique, but you deserve a lawyer who will fight to win your case, care about you, be accessible to you, and do everything within the law to get that not guilty verdict! If your lawyer says you have to plead guilty, maybe you have the wrong lawyer! Required by Alabama law: These recoveries and testimonials are not an indication of future results. Every case is different, and regardless of what friends, family, or other individuals may say about what a case is worth, each case must be evaluated on its own facts and circumstances as they apply to the law. The valuation of a case depends on the facts, the injuries, the jurisdiction, the venue, the witnesses, the parties, and the testimony, among other factors. Furthermore,no representation is made that the quality of legal services to be performed is greater than the services of other lawyers.

Mr. Varga is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California. Mr. Varga is fluent in English, Spanish and Hungarian, which has allowed him to represent a wide variety of demographics. For many years, Mr. Varga volunteered his time to serve as a Court appointed arbitrator in the Counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Kern, Riverside and San Bernardino. Mr. Varga is a member of the South Bay Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and its Indigent Criminal Defense Appointments Panel. Stephen A. Varga began his legal career in 1980, focusing primarily on personal injury and criminal law. He soon learned the importance of listening carefully to what his clients have to say and has carried that lesson with him to this day. In 1982, he opened his own law office and has been practicing solo ever since. In 1999, he moved his practice to the South Bay area of Los Angeles County. Mr. Varga has found success with a wide variety of cases in different areas of the law. These areas include criminal defense, condo law, family law, personal injury, both plaintiff and defense, and the occasional one-off, such as corporate fraud, etc. Mr. Varga’s experience practicing law allows him to bring a unique legal perspective to any case that he undertakes. His nearly 40 years of experience with the justice system is an exceptional resource that he uses to provide the best possible legal advice for his clients. If you retain Mr. Varga to represent you, you will have chosen well.

I am a criminal defense and immigration attorney in Miami, FL.  I was born and raised in Miami.  I have been practicing law since 2008 primarily focusing on criminal and immigration law.  I'm a former prosecutor who worked at the State Attorney's Office.  That time allowed me to gain invaluable courtroom experience as I had the opportunity to handle thousands of criminal cases, handle motions, and conduct jury and non-jury trials. I have also owned two law firms that focus substantially on immigration law.  At Ronquillo Law, I defended clients in removal proceedings, represented family members who want to file family based petitions for green cards for a loved one, and represented legal permanent residents who want to apply for citizenship.  I eventually decided to join my husband's firm, Hubbs Law, where we both exclusively practice in criminal defense and immigration law.   If you are in need of legal representation, please don't hesitate to give our office a call.  If you speak English, please contact us at 305-615-5945.  If you speak Spanish, you can call us at 1-833-374-8227.

My practice focuses on immigration, criminal law and commercial litigation. I started my legal career at the Public Defender’s Office where I handled thousands of cases and conducted over twenty jury trials. In private practice, I focused on family and business immigration by representing clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration Courts and the Executive Board of Immigration Review. I have also represented numerous clients in commercial transactions, both as a plaintiff and as a defendant, including real estate transactions, contract disputes, property damages and employment cases. I was born in Brazil and moved to the United States with my family as a teenager. After graduating high school in Virginia, I attended George Mason University in the Washington D.C. area, where I obtained a B.A. in Government and International Politics. I relocated to Florida in 2006 and went on to graduate from Florida State University College of Law. As an attorney I have used my diverse professional experience acquired in other industries to better represent my clients. I also had the opportunity to live in other countries and experience other cultures. I speak Portuguese and Spanish. I am a dedicated professional who is committed to my clients’ cases. I understand my clients come to me with issues that deeply affect their lives and future. I will strongly advocate for my clients but believe that civility is the path the best results.
