I take pride in the fact that I have been told that I am a good listener. I will offer a client objective, realistic advice that takes into account the client’s legal, financial and other priorities. I will aggressively prosecute your case to the fullest extent of the law. I remain accessible by phone or email throughout the course of the relationship so that I can personally answer your questions and concerns.
On the rare occasion I am able to cut out of the office, I enjoy sailing on the Bay in my Irish built FJ-14. If I am in Hawaii, I am scuba diving, no question. However, I am typically found here in the East Bay running with one or more of my German Shepards likely to or from a hardware store on a DIY project at my house.
I enjoy volunteering on a number of community projects. In the past, I have been a volunteer brakeman on the Niles Canyon Railway in Sunol, California. (I will do ANYTHING "railroad") I have also served on the board of directors for Loaves & Fishes of Contra Costa, a secular non-profit program dedicated to feeding the hungry of Contra Costa County.

Kevin Kump has practiced law in California since 1988. His career began by representing banks, financial institutions and landlords. He held executive positions as an in-house lawyer for WFS Financial (now Wells Fargo), BBVA Bancomer USA (a division of one of the world’s largest banks), and Toyota Financial Services (the world's largest captive auto finance company). This experience gave Kevin a unique expertise in financial litigation and consumer compliance for financial institutions and automobile finance companies.
The Law Office of Kevin Kump now helps consumers and individuals in their fight against big corporations. If you are being harassed by debt collectors, had a car repossessed, purchased a “lemon”, received unwanted marketing calls, suffered credit report damage, or have been mistreated by an evil landlord, the Kump firm is here to help. Kevin knows the tactics and tricks used by these big corporations and their expensive lawyers. We are here to help you through the fight!
Mission Statement: To fearlessly protect individuals against the unfair deception and abuse of big corporations.

Richard Martinez has been licensed for 36 years and has an office in Tucson, AZ. This attorney handles cases in Litigation, Landlord & Tenant, Civil Rights, Employment & Labor, Criminal Defense and attended University of Arizona College of Law.
As a litigation attorney for almost 30 years, I've seen access to the legal system become so expensive that it can be beyond the reach of many.
It's more important than ever for lawyers to be strategic and cost-conscious in representing clients, to achieve the best possible result at a reasonable cost. This need is something I am acutely aware of at all stages of advising my clients. I offer a variety of fee options, including flat-fee contracts and contingency (percentage) fees, and I educate my clients from the beginning about the potential cost of handling their case. I believe strongly in mediating disputes whenever possible, both before and during litigation. Mediation lets you control the case outcome instead of leaving it up to a judge or jury. It's also confidential. I am certified as a mediator and give generously of my time as a volunteer mediator to the local court.
My clients are average people, individuals and small business owners, who find themselves needing legal services in cases involving family inheritances; evictions; debt collection; injuries caused by others including car accidents; and landlord-tenant disputes. Many of my former clients remain my friends to this day, and I am honored that they refer their friends and family to me.
I am committed to excellent and prompt communication with my clients, and to giving 100% of my ability to resolving their cases in an effective and economical manner. I invite you to call me to discuss a legal matter or about my practice in general. Thank you for taking the time to read my comments.

I am an employment and commercial litigation attorney. My employment practice is focused on wrongful termination, sexual harassment and wage and hour counseling and litigation primarily on behalf of plaintiffs.
In May 2019, I obtained a $5.375 million settlement of a PAGA action on behalf of employees of a subsidiary of Menzies Aviation (Aircraft Service International). Although 75% of all PAGA settlements are required by statute to be paid to the state, the employees received an average payout of nearly $700 per employee. Since there were many employees who were only employed for a month or two, roughly half of the employees received over $1,000, with dozens of employees receiving awards in excess of $1,600.
I also provide counseling and litigation expertise to employers and employees on non-competes and in trade secret disputes related to employee hirings and terminations.
My commercial litigation practice is centered on the representation of real estate developers and commercial property owners in contract disputes, business tort claims and unlawful detainer proceedings.

I have practiced law for 31 years and been a trial attorney since 1989. I am now also a mediator. My experience in the court system leads me to believe that mediation is often a better alternative than court action.
By mediating early in the process, the parties can save a great deal in attorney’s fees, and be spared prolonged anguish and frustration. My goal is to help you resolve your legal disputes in the most cost-effective and satisfying way possible.
My philosophy: Chances are your case will settle. Over 90% of them do. You might as well try before you and your money are exhausted.

Reena Kaur Khalsa
1785 W State Rte 89A Suite 2--I, Sedona
All while I was growing up I was convinced that I wanted to be a surgeon. As I grew older and got involved in Mock Trial, my passion for the law began to grow. When I finally started college, I was sure that I wanted to do a double degree--MD and JD. Finally after two years into college, just one year away from graduation, I had a realization. I realized that being a surgeon was not pracitical for my life. My culture and idea of myself as a wife and eventually a mother just did not seem practical for a surgeon. Doing the work that I love and still being able to spend time and support my family is important to me. I feel blessed to have been able to come to this realization at such a young age. Now I am attorney and a wife, and I feel that I made the perfect decision for myself. I love what I do, and I am still able to support my family and make time for them in my life. Every case is a new adventure, and every client has an interesting story to tell.
A big part of my religion is about doing "seva," or service--some kind of service to help others. When I became pasionate about the law, I was excited about how I could use my work to follow in the principles of my religion. Doing seva is a big part of my life, and I am lucky that I am able to do work that I love that is a service to others.
Throughout my younger years I was inspired toward and developed a passion for immigration because of certain experiences. The first experience being that my family was able to help some young immigrant children in our community whose parents got deported by adopting them and filing for their papers. A few years ago they received their green cards, graduated from ASU with honors, and are now working hard to support their families back home. The second expeirence, being very near to my heart, was when I applied to sponsor my husband. Immigration has a very close place in my heart, and being from an ethnic background I feel that I can really relate to my client's situations on a deeper level.
I have always been open to working remotely, and I love to and am happy to travel when needed. Please do not let my location discourage you. Feel free to call me or email me if there is any way that you feel that I can serve you. I enjoy all areas of law, and I hope that this personal tidbit into my life while inspire you to give me an opporutnity to serve you!
