Virender Goswami earned his bachelor's degree in economics with honors from Delhi University in India in 1978 and his LLB from Delhi University, where he graduated in the top three per cent of his class. In 1981 he became a member of the Bar Council of Delhi. He then studied law at the University of San Diego in California and received his master's degree in comparative law in 1988. Mr. Goswami has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1987, The American Bar Association since 1987 and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 1992.
