Donald Edward Smith

DONALD E. SMITH is an accessible and responsive former corporate counsel and seasoned immigration attorney with a dedication to client service and passion for client success. He provides outstanding immigration counsel to clients with a reputation for successful representations of challenging and complex practice and policy concerns resolving these with creativity and knowledge that combines “out of the box” thinking with hands-on experience from “ground-up” business building. When immigration matters he provides good counsel.
He advises clients on law, alternative strategies, and actions to achieve their immigration goals for matters from the more common HELO visas and less common EB1 Extraordinary and National Interest Waivers including: E, H1B, H2B, L, LZ, O, P, J, TN, K, Q, R and IV EB1, EB2, NIW, EB5, LC and PERM, AOS consular process, naturalization and I-9 Compliance.
I have been practicing law since 1990 and LOVE cases that other attorneys have called impossible. Most of my practice involves immigration cases that have a criminal aspect and criminal cases that have an immigration aspect.
There is a terrible misconception that aliens with crimes cannot win their cases. This couldn't be further from the truth. However, winning immigration cases when there are crimes involved requires an in depth understanding of both criminal and immigration law.
Even if you've already lost your case and you've been told there's nothing more that can be done, visit us for a second opinion.
Deborah graduated from the prestigious Queen Mary University London, in the United Kingdom, with Honors at the top 2% of the year and was awarded the Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
