Thanks for visiting my profile!  My law partners and I founded Dormer, Harpring & Gray to let us give each of our clients the kind of personal attention that simply cannot be had at a high-volume “mill-style” law firm. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, the child of longtime Denver family lawyer Robert R. Dormer.  After graduating from Cherry Creek High School, I went to the University of California – Berkeley, for my bachelor's degree. I came home to attend law school, graduating from the University of Colorado School of Law.  During law school, I served as President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the Public Interest Student Association’s Representative to the Student Bar Association, CU Law School’s student government.  I earned a spot on the law school’s traveling Mock Trial Team.  As a part of the trial team, I had the honor of representing CU Law School at three national-level trial competitions and receiving critique from some of the nation’s top trial lawyers and judges. Of my entire law school record, however, I was most shaped by my tenure as a student attorney in CU Law School’s Defense Clinic.  The Defense Clinic gave me the opportunity to represent criminal defendants for free, including those facing combinations of both criminal and immigration charges.  It was this experience that gave me my passion for trial work, especially for those most in need. For just about three years both near the end of and after law school, I worked for an extraordinarily busy Denver-area law firm.  I have represented numerous clients at all stages of their cases, from the initial consultation through settlement negotiations, trial, and appeal. When not fighting for injured victims or people facing criminal charges, I spend my time enjoying Colorado’s outdoors, including rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, and fly fishing.  I am also a licensed motorcyclist.
