Philip N. Kabler, Esq. is a Partner (Shareholder) at Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A. Mr. Kabler holds law licenses in Florida, Connecticut, and Virginia (Associate Status), as well as admissions to various Federal Courts including the United States Supreme Court. He graduated from Brandeis University (Waltham, MA) in 1982, Magna Laude with High Honors in Philosophy, and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (Philadelphia, PA) in 1985.
Mr. Kabler has practiced since 1985 in both law firm and in-house settings in Norfolk, VA, Hartford, CT, Miami, FL, and Gainesville, FL. He has taught at the University of Florida - Levin College of Law from 2011-2015 (including Real Estate Document Drafting), at the University of Florida – Warrington College of Business Administration from 2007-2013 and 2016 (including graduate-level Business Law for Entrepreneurs and Law of Real Estate Transactions during the Fall 2016 semester), and at Santa Fe College (Gainesville, FL) from 1998-1999 and 2004-2010. Mr. Kabler was an administrator with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice – District III for five years.
Mr. Kabler is the President of the North Florida Association of Real Estate Attorneys. He was the 2015 Chair of the Gainesville – Alachua County Association of Realtors Commercial Council. He was a board member of the Eighth Judicial Circuit (Florida) Bar Association from 2009-2016. Mr. Kabler is a member of The Florida Bar Business Law Section (from 2011-2014 on the Executive Council), the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, and the Animal Law Committee. From 2009-2015 he was a member of The Florida Bar Foundation board of directors (Florida Supreme Court appointee).
Mr. Kabler was appointed in 2014 to the Eighth Judicial Circuit Local Professionalism Panel. In 2015 he was appointed to a second three-year term on the Florida Bar’s Professional Ethics Committee (the first being from 2010-2013).
Throughout Mr. Kabler’s career he has been involved in a large variety of professional and community activities, including in board and officer capacities. He is presently involved in the following activities:
