As an attorney, nothing gives me greater satisfaction than being able to bring peace of mind to clients who are facing stressful circumstances.
Born and raised in Grand Rapids, I continued my education at Grand Valley State University, graduating in 2005.
My next move was to spend a year living in France teaching English to high schoolers. A great experience, it taught me that I wanted to limit my exposure to high school students in the future. Law school seemsed like a good option.
I then went on to law school, starting in Grand Rapids, before transferring to the University of Minnesota Law School where I received my Juris Doctor degree in 2010.
I have been working as an independent attorney since 2012 practicing in a variety of legal areas. In 2017 I moved my practice to northeastern Michigan with my office in Harrisville. Most of my cases fall under the headings Appeals, Criminal Defense (Misdemeanors and Felonies), Family Law, and Real Property Law. However I still consider myself a general practitioner and enjoy taking a variety of case types.
When not working I enjoy spending as much time as possible with two daughters.
