Isabelle immigrated to the United States from Montreal, Canada, with her German mother and Canadian father. She grew up in a household full of diverse languages and cultures and has always loved the blend of different human perspectives on the world. She lived in Montreal, London, New York, Boston and Tampa before settling in her true home, San Francisco, in 2002.
Isabelle graduated from Harvard University in 1995 with honors and New York University School of Law in 2002.
Her professional life has been as diverse as her heritage. Before law school, she worked as a management consultant to financial services firms including American Express and Chase Bank. As an attorney she worked for a major international law firm, Bingham McCutchen, and at several public interest organizations. Throughout this decade she maintained her interest and involvement in immigration law, having herself lived the experience.
Isabelle brings diverse skills, a multicultural perspective and her insatiable curiosity to immigration cases. She believes that immigrants and foreign visitors enrich this country and uses her energy and skills to bring them together.
