I grew up in Beirut, Lebanon, with a beautiful family of three sisters, a super mom and a veteran dad. I had a fun and exciting childhood and knew since I was very little what my ambitions in life were: becoming a doctor and helping people. I dedicated most of my mid-childhood and early adult years to my education. I attended the American University of Beirut Medical Center where I got my medical degree. I left my family and beloved home to get higher training at INOVA Fairfax Hospital where I completed my OB/GYN residency.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, photographing the beautiful nature and swimming. My passion other than my profession and my patients is traveling! I enjoy exploring new cultures and places and meeting new people from all over the world.
As for my profession, I am very excited about joining Fairfax Gynecology Group! I am committed to providing my patients with state of the art and excellent personalized care. I always strive to maintain professionalism, diligence, excellent bedside manner, and good communication skills. My patients describe me as being “empathetic, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and courteous.” I always act in the best interest of my patients. I strive to be “the doctor who treats her patients as a whole, taking care of their physical, emotional and spiritual health.” I am trained in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgeries and have contributed to research in the medical field. I honed my clinical and surgical skills, and have earned the prestigious Laparoscopic Skills Award as well as the Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology from the AAGL Society.
