Caring for the locals of Cambridge, MA, Dr. Gerard Coste is a multilingual communicator, who can converse in English, Spanish, and French, which makes him skilled in building and strengthening relationships with diverse populations. He renders his services at CHA Windsor Street Care Center and goes all out to create a positive patient experience for every individual. Dr. Coste is a board-certified internist who holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. A well-trained provider, he earned his medical degree from Boston University and then went on to pursue a residency at Cambridge Hospital. Dr. Coste's sound medical knowledge and passion towards his work is commendable and makes him a valued asset at his practice. He takes his time to understand the symptoms and make a correct diagnosis to ensure the continued health of all his patients. He believes that prevention of illness is better than cure and encourages his patients to take personal responsibility for their health. At CHA we believe that excellent health comes from a team of people working together, we call these care teams because it is their job to listen, respect and care for every patient at our clinic and in our community. A CHA doctor will lead a team - which may include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants or other caregivers - who will get to know you well. Together, they will take responsibility for your health by offering consistent, coordinated care and communication. Dr. Coste is part of a care team that includes physician assistant Meghan Nestor and Dr. Marie-Louise Jean-Baptiste. All returning patients should schedule within their existing care teams to ensure CHA is able to provide continuity of care.
