I grew up in Waco, Texas, the city made famous by "Fixer Upper," and graduated from Midway High School in May 2008.  I attended the University of Arkansas from August 2008 to May 2012 when I recieved a Bachelor of Arts in History.  I began my law school career at the University of Arkansas School of Law in August 2014 and transferred to Lewis and Clark Law School in August 2015, where I finished my J.D. in May 2017.  After my 1L year, I spent the summer clerking for the Honorable Jeffrey C. Manske at the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Waco Division, where I focused on federal law issues including, but not limited to: civil rights, social security, mediations and arbitrations, amongst others. After my 2L year, I spent the summer as an extern in TriMet's in-house legal counsel's office focusing primarily on employment and labor law issues stemming from disputes with the encumbent union.  During my 3L year, I worked briefly as a research assistant for Buckley Law, P.C., researching issues related to state taxation and the commerce clause. I moved to Bend in September 2017 and worked as a Law Clerk for Joel Kent at Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, P.C., until I was sworn in to practice law in April 2018.  I am happily married to my lovely wife and my hobbies include martial arts, hunting, calling the hogs, and spending time outdoors with my wife and our dogs.  I pride myself on providing an empathetic approach to the practice of family law and strive to always be available to speak to my clients because I understand the stress that accompanies litigation.
