A Music @ the Maison Française Concert Presented as part of the Music Performance Program, by the Department of Music and Maison Française. Program: - Mozart, Concerto in G Major for Flute and Orchestra, I-II, solo flute - Rivier, Oiseaux Tendres, solo flute - Muczynski, 5 Duos, flute & clarinet - Bozza, Bucolique, clarinet & piano - Widmann, Fantasie, clarinet Aimee Toner is a senior at Barnard College pursuing a double major in Ethnomusicology and Economics. She is also in the Manhattan School of Music Lesson Exchange and takes lessons with Professor Linda Chesis. She has lead in orchestral settings by playing principal, piccolo, and assistant parts for the New York Youth Symphony, the Columbia University Orchestra, the American Youth Orchestra, the Claremont Chamber Orchestra, and the Columbia Pops Orchestra. Nikki Pet, of Glastonbury, CT, began playing clarinet at age ten. She currently studies with Alan Kay through the Columbia-Juilliard Exchange. Ensembles she has participated in include the New Juilliard Ensemble, the New York Youth Symphony, and the Boston Youth Symphony. She received first place in the 2016 Hartford Music Club Competition, top prize in the 2015 International Grande Music Competition, and first prize in the 2015 Korean Radio Broadcast Competition.
