Fixity And Flow: The Re-Imagining Of The Seine Quayside For Sustainability
An exhibit showcasing selected photographic works from Sarah Terry

The City of Paris has undertaken an ambitious project to transform the lower Seine quayside into a sequence of spaces more friendly to people and nature. Sarah Terry’s color photographs made during 2017-2019 explore the renewed interaction of people, animals and structures of the Paris quayside as vehicular traffic gives way to recreational facilities and enhanced green space. The photographs reveal how this re-imagining of the Seine quayside creates a new fluidity and movement amidst the iconic architecture which has defined the central Paris Seine for centuries.
