Dr. Grija received her medical degree from Carol Davila Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and completed her residency at West Suburban Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Grija is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a USCIS designated civil surgeon. She has published a number of medical articles and stays up-to-date on the latest in medicine with continuing education, conferences, and medical journals.
Married with two children, Dr. Grija enjoys music, opera, traveling, reading, and swimming. She speaks English and Romanian, as well as some German and French.
