Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic, LLC (FASMA) - Central Billing Office provides top notch revenue cycle management for 50+ area doctors. About the Position:

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of previous accounts receivable or collection experience
  • Excellent customer service and customer relations skills
  • Must have MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with all levels of staff and clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capable of working under time restraints to meet goals
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize job duties under general supervision
  • Knowledge of how to work both insurance and patient accounts receivable
  • Experience with GE Centricity, preferred

Responsibilities Include:

  • Contact patients daily to make collection efforts on outstanding balances
  • Work with daily aging report patient balance
  • Reconciles balances and applies credits to open balances within patient accounts
  • Provide high quality customer service
  • Assist Billing personnel with customer disputed accounts
  • Provide receipts and itemized bills to patient as requested
  • Documents patient calls in correspondence diligently
  • Answer patient inquiries in regards to balance due and insurance EOB's
  • Return patients’ voicemails
  • Shows empathy for patients and facilitates payment arrangements
  • Comfortable collecting balances from patients using explanation of benefits as a reference
  • Facilitates office related disputes on charges and balances

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
